Yoga for the Back and Sciatica

Fee per class: $7 for members, $12 for Non-Members

Simple and gentle yoga stretches with the proper breathing will improve the flexibility and mobility of the spine. It also strengthens the muscles, and calms the mind and the body. It helps to relieve the back pain and the sciatica.
Many people suffer from back pain which causes weakness and stiffness of the muscles. Sciatica is caused by compression of the nerves in the lower back. They may also have stiffness of hamstring muscles and hips. This class will help to stretch the spine and muscles,and thereby help to reduce the back pain and sciatica.
Please bring a yoga mat, blocks, strap and water.
